Where we work

The 'Sahel', the Arabic word for shore, is the semi-arid land south of the Sahara, stretching from Senegal to Somalia. People in the Sahel are facing real hardship caused by an increasingly arid climate and inequalities in national and international relations.  SOS Sahel is helping these people, who are experts in their own right, to adapt and survive in the face of rapid change.
