| Song of Sahel | |
Song of Sahel was created by Niamh Clune, founder of Plum Tree Books. Struck by the famine and extreme poverty affecting communities in the Sahel, Niamh and artists and musicians from across the world, pooled their talents into creating Song of Sahel - an online anthology full of inspiring music, poetry, art and photography. Proceeds from downloads of the anthology and songs were kindly given to SOS Sahel and staff were presented with a cheque for over £200. Our warmest thanks go to Niamh and everyone involved for their hardwork and commitment towards supporting Sahelian communities to strengthen and improve their lives. The song "Island of Hope" can be downloaded here The official song for Song of Sahel "Give Me Life" can be downloaded here To download the Song of Sahel anthology please click here |
