Donate now - Supporting communities in the Sahel
SOS Sahel UK seeks sustainable solutions to the poverty experienced by millions of people across the semi-arid lands of the Sahel and Horn of Africa.  We believe this poverty has its roots in the historical neglect of dryland areas and particularly in discrimination against pastoralists and nomadic groups.

How you can help
With your support, SOS Sahel UK can help Sahelian communities build themselves a brighter future, with stronger voices to influence those with the power to end dryland poverty.

Our vision is that the people of the Sahel will have more influence over the decisions that affect their lives and more control over the resources they need for a secure and fulfilling life

Please help us to make this vision a reality by donating today

£5 a month for a year can support community literacy training for 6 people for a year.

£15 a month for a year can cover the costs of a consultative forum which regulates use of, and prevents conflicts over, forests, water and land in Bankass District, Mali.

£50 can pay for a month-long training course for about 75 women to learn about health and nutrition, midwifery and sewing at a women's development centre in Sudan.
