Whether you decide to organise something yourself or participate in a sponsored event, being an ambassador is an exciting and active way to get involved with our charity. There are many ways you can contribute:
Organise an event
Organising your own event is a fantastic way to help raise money for SOS Sahel UK. Whether you decide to shave off your beard like Maurice Baren did, organise a quiz night or a coffee morning, climb a mountain, jump from a plane, sell some unwanted goods or have a plant sale, we would love to hear from you.
Take a sponsored challenge
Already got a place for this year's London Marathon, Mazda London Triathlon, Great North Run or other big sporting event? Have you decided who to donate your sponsorship money to? Why not support dryland Africa by running for SOS Sahel UK! If running is not your thing, you can always do a sky-dive or a sponsored silence.
Fundraise in your community
There are many ways you can fundraise in a group; either at school, church, work or activity clubs and support African communities. Why not organise a sponsored walk, hold a cake sale or have a dress down day? Even face-painting can be a fun and creative way to raise money for charity.
